Are there certain assets within your company that you would like to be able to monitor and secure? For example, television screens in the reception area and meeting rooms - read the practical example below - cleaning machines, material trolleys, computers, ... all valuable items which you would like to know where they are, and above all that they do not leave the company premises (taken or stolen). The TAG.WIFI is the solution to track these assets as they are used indoors or in busy geographical areas. With the geofencing function you can set up security zones which generate an automatic alert if an asset crosses the virtual border.
Check.connects, powered by All-Connects, was selected to participate in the NEW WORK project of THE BEACON SMART HUB in Antwerp. The building on the isle will be opened up as an experimental living lab to test new technologies, which contribute positively to health, well-being and productivity on the work floor.
The technology is tested for user acceptance, and answers the following questions:

The Check.connects technology is used to locate company assets, monitor their use and optimise reservation planning. For the Beacon, we were asked to deploy the system to monitor facility tasks in the various office spaces. Because the building is constantly being used by different people, it was not easy to provide a good service and to ensure that everything was always in perfect order at the workplace, in the coffee corner and in the washrooms. That's why they wanted an easy way to report when something needed to be refilled - such as toilet soap, cleaning product, coffee beans, etc.
Ideal for the requested functionality was our QR code application: Anyone can scan a QR code, linked to a device or room, with their own smartphone and open a 'guest page' on the CHECK app (without login details or compulsory registration). Via a handy form with targeted, relevant questions, the user can quickly pass on a report, and even add a photo to illustrate a defect, damage or unhygienic situation, for example. THE BEACON's office manager receives an instant notification and can immediately launch a follow-up task.

Amcor has its origins some 160 years ago and, with 250 sites in more than 40 countries, is a global market leader in the development and production of responsible packaging. This packaging is used for food, drinks, pharmaceutical, medical, household and personal care products, among other things. With their goal to make all packaging produced recyclable or reusable by 2025, sustainability is high on their list of priorities.
Television screens are used throughout Amcor's premises. The screens in the meeting rooms are used to show presentations. Information is also shown on a screen in the lobby and at the reception desk. Despite the security system in the building, these screens regularly disappeared.
We attached a TAG.WIFI to each individual screen throughout the building. A geofence - which forms a virtual fence around the company premises using GPS coordinates - was set up as an additional security measure. If the asset with the attached tag crosses this boundary line, an automatic notification is sent to the platform, which immediately notifies the appropriate persons.
We attached the tags to all the televisions throughout the building and linked them to the platform. This gave an overview of the number of televisions present throughout the building. A geofence zone was set up around the premises. If an asset to which a TAG.WIFI is attached crosses this virtual boundary, a message is immediately sent to the platform. The person responsible receives a message immediately.
