Indoor tubes

Do you want to be able to easily locate and track materials, equipment or assemblies within your premises, yard or warehouse? Then the TAG.BLE (bluetooth) is the best option. The tag is ultra-small and can be easily attached. Location is determined automatically via signal recognition by gateways and smartphones within range; no manual operation or scanning is required. An integrated QR code offers the possibility of adding all kinds of actions. In this use case, the TAG.BLE is used to track unfinished products through the assembly process.

Don't forget any more inspections thanks to the TAG.QR-NFC.

Trapmann specialises in adapting vehicles for people with mobile disabilities. By constantly innovating and investing in new technologies, Trapmann offers solutions to ensure that everyone with a mobile disability, wheelchair users and senior citizens can regain their mobile freedom.

Their challenge.

With certain modifications, the entire interior of the car is stripped and put back into the vehicle along with the modification. A mini crane is often used for dismantling. These cranes must be inspected annually to guarantee that they are still suitable and safe for moving heavy objects. Sometimes this inspection is forgotten or not carried out at all.

Our solution.

On each mini crane we attached a TAG.QR-NFC, which we linked to the platform. By scanning the QR code, you gain access to the full history and information of that specific asset. This ensures that inspection dates are correctly tracked and the periodic inspection can be scheduled in good time.

In practice.

The tags were linked to the platform. There, a new reminder is automatically set on the basis of the previous inspection date. This reminder depends on the selected repetition period, this can be monthly or for example exactly one year later. One only has to scan the QR/NFC on the crane with the application or a QR scanner on the smartphone. The inspection or visual check can be started with one simple click. If necessary, the inspection report or other images can be added to the asset on the platform. This way, all documents are always to hand.

Track your parts indoors with IoT

The customer.

This is a leading global industrial company in Finland that offers equipment and services for the sustainable processing and flow of natural resources in the mining, aggregates, recycling and process industries.

Their challenge.

During the assembly process, many separate parts are brought together to create one final product. During this process, the unfinished product often travels all the way through the company. As a result, during the assembly and relocation process, parts are often lost or employees do not know where they have put them.

Our solution.

In order to be able to track the location of the parts as accurately as possible, we combined a TAG.BLE with gateways throughout the entire warehouse.

In practice.

The large assembly pieces were equipped with a TAG.BLE. We linked each tag on the platform with the right asset. By scanning the QR code on the TAG.BLE, you can use the platform or the mobile application to follow the pieces or see where they are stored. Employees no longer lose time searching through all the warehouses and the rest of the company.
