Safety is paramount. That is why it is mandatory that certain machines and materials are inspected after a fixed period of time. When you have a large number of machines and tools that need to be maintained or inspected, it is difficult to maintain an overview. The challenge was therefore to get a good overview of exactly which materials need to be inspected and when.
Since a hoisting belt must comply with certain regulations, the solution had to take into account that nothing should be attached to the belt itself. Therefore, our smallest solution proved to be the most suitable: the TAG.QR-NFC. This can easily be attached to the label and can easily be read via smartphone. In this way, the inspection data can be tracked without any problems.
A TAG.QR-NFC was attached to the label of each lifting sling. Each sling was created on the CHECK mobile app, including a photo and any documents. As soon as these were created on the platform, the desired inspection dates could be set. A barcode already present on the hoisting belts could also be added and linked to the platform.
